Having a Look Around the Workshop
After having a play at creating a custom reservoir, we had a look around Alex's workshop and computer room(s) to check out just how much gear he has and get a sneak peak of the projects he is currently working on.

As with all modders, space is always short, and parts seem to be everywhere. Alex has a nice collection going!

Yet more goodies on these shelves. I spotted something very special though! Corsair Dominator Platinum Special Edition. *Drool*

This is one of the builds Alex is working on, which looks like it could be interesting!

The GPU here has been modded ready for the head-to-head competition against Bird Customs. You can follow the progress of this build

Again, these are parts for the head-to-head competition. Alex tests everything before putting them in a build to ensure there are no problems once the mod is finished. He also has the huge Thermaltake Core X71 that he will be doing some things to soon...

This shell is the case that Alex will be using for the head-to-head competition. It is a Thermaltake View 27, but as you can see, it is getting modded quite a lot. On the way out of this room, I spotted a custom chair from Thermaltake too! I really like this idea - I want a chair with my username and logo on it!

Outside, Alex has a nice-sized shed where he does any heavy duty modding. The first thing I noticed was the awesome wall of power tools!

He also has many other goodies around his shed such as polishers, sanders, and pillar drills.

More shelving shows off more power tools such as a large chop saw. He also has more computer components and cooling solutions.

Although Alex does have a lot of power tools, not all of them cost a huge amount. One of his favourite tools is this pillar drill, which was bought second hand. It is very heavy and works just fine; you don't have to spend a fortune to get the tools you need. One thing that is always worth having is an abundance of sleeving. Alex is very similar to most modders in this regard - you can never have too much or too many colours!

Well, that is it for this feature! Hopefully you guys enjoyed this as much as I did. Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy schedule for me, Alex. Good luck with your competitions this year and all the best for the future!
